Responsibilities

+ Perform daily quality tests and inspections on in-process materials and finished membranes.

+ Hourly observation and documentation of production processes and quality parameters.

+ Perform acceptance tests on incoming raw materials and semi-finished materials.

+ Formulate color matches for sales using spectrophotometric software.

+ Data entry of laboratory generated data using MS Excel and MS Access.

+ Maintain a clean and safe laboratory area. Follow company environmental policy and work practices or other concern which would affect safety, environment, or company property.

+ Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

+ High School Degree.

+ Experience in laboratory environment, measurements, and production desirable.

+ Some experience with computerized testing equipment such as laboratory balances, tensile testers, and spectrophotometers.

+ Knowledge of Windows software, in particular Microsoft Excel, Word, Access.

+ Good verbal and written communication skills.

+ Accuracy with data input and attention to detail.
