Service Sales Fire Account Representative

• Promote and sell service agreements for commercial building systems products (fire alarm, suppression, sprinkler, security, sound, communication, inspections)
• Determine customer needs and develop sales strategies that meet those objectives
• Close sufficient sales to meet sales plan objectives
• Develop and maintain a positive ongoing relationship with customers to ensure long‑term loyalty
• Maintain an active proposal backlog that supports the sales plan
• Conduct building surveys to support development of estimates
• Maintain correct and complete records of all sales‑related activities
• Submit all required sales reports, expenses, competitive activity, and correspondence accurately and promptly
• Support the service department in generating leads for service or equipment/device upgrades

• Degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 5 years) and a 3‑year minimum B2B sales track record
• Experience selling a service or intangible/technical product
• Hunter mentality with prospecting, qualifying, solution selling, and closing experience
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment with minimal supervision and performance measured by quota
• Professional communication, organizational, and time‑management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Preferred: BA degree in a technical or business discipline
• Salesforce competency
• Salary range: $53,000 – $80,000 (subject to experience, skills, and market data)
