Facilities Mechanic

Trillium Brewing Company is looking for an experienced full-time Facilities Mechanic to join our team! This position will help to maintain the day to day activities associated with running a multi-unit environment, such as equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of minor equipment.

This position is based in our Canton, MA location and will report directly to the Director of Facilities and Logistics. The role requires flexibility to meet facility demands, including overtime as needed. This is a full-time, hourly position, with a permanent weekend schedule.

The ideal candidate must work Saturdays and Sundays and may choose one of the following shifts;
Wednesday-Sunday or Saturday-Wednesday. This opportunity offers hands-on experience within a growing, family-run brewery environment.

• Assist the company’s facility operations for multiple locations
• Perform planned maintenance programs for a variety of Brewing equipment
• Responsible for maintaining facilities by inspecting, maintaining, and repairing equipment that doesn’t require a license like: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal operating results.
• Maintain adequate parts inventory and order items as necessary
• Execute equipment audits and keep detailed records
• Ensure compliance with all safety and security regulations
• Snow removal during winter months operating plow trucks, farm tractor ,and snow blowers as needed

Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

• 3+ years’ experience in facilities related position

• Able to read and understand complex electrical, mechanical, and automation systems
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A willingness and ability to perform manual labor on short timelines
• Affinity for working in a team environment and ability to identify common goals
• Good analytical/critical thinking
• Able to stand for long periods of time and frequently walk between locations
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Maintain a DOT medical card at the companies expense for operation of associated company vehicles 10,001 lbs to 26,000 lb GVWR as needed
