As a Security System Technician you will:

• Participate in Operational Testing, Verification, and Acceptance: run routine reports to review system operation, support final inspection and testing, assist with customer acceptance, provide customer training, submit written reports, identify code and non‑conformance issues, and recommend system installation improvements.
• Conduct Project Site Communication and Coordination: support others in scheduling trade contractors to coordinate start‑up services as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in the installation and/or maintenance of large‑scale integrated security systems.
• Understanding of network components and workstation/server operating system management.
• Willingness and ability to work in various environments, including mechanical equipment, climbing ladders, scaffolds, high‑lift equipment, ducts, above ceilings, and outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions; ability to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; ability to differentiate types/colors of wire and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with limited violations.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma.
• 3+ years of experience in the installation and/or maintenance of large‑scale integrated security systems.
• Massachusetts Class D Electrical License.
• Ability to read and understand design and construction documents.

Salary: $27.80 – $47.70 per hour.
