Construction Manager/ Foreman, Electrician/ Electrician Installation
Professional Electrical Contractors is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead field operations on commercial and industrial electrical construction projects. This role is responsible for supervising crews, coordinating daily jobsite activities, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities- Lead and supervise electrical crews on assigned projects.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate daily field activities.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical drawings.
- Perform project layout and coordinate installations.
- Schedule and direct work to meet project milestones and production goals.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite.
- Conduct daily safety huddles and enforce OSHA and company safety standards.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment.
- Track production, labor hours, and material usage.
- Complete daily reports, time sheets, and project documentation.
- Communicate effectively with Superintendents, Project Managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and customers.
- Mentor apprentices and develop crew members.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes and project specifications.
- Maintain accurate as-built drawings and project documentation.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a licensed electrician.
- Proven experience leading commercial electrical and solar construction crews.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprint reading, layout, and material takeoffs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Proficient with project documentation and reporting.
- Maintain a valid electrical license through required continuing education.
- Electrical licenses in one or more New England states preferred (CT, MA, ME, NH, RI, and VT).
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, kneel, bend, and work overhead.
- Must wear required PPE and follow all company and customer safety policies.
- Willingness to work overtime and travel to project sites as needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
