Full Stack ReactJS and NextJS Developer

Job Description

As a Web Apps Sr Full Stack Developer, you will:

• Understand specifications, develop code, write unit test cases, and work on integration, testing, debugging, using third-party class libraries, and configuration management tools.
• Engage in software development activities including building new software, integrating with existing systems, or commercial off-the-shelf software.
• Communicate development progress to project leads and managers, and participate in analysis activities, software design reviews, source code reviews, and UX/UI design reviews.

• Design, develop, and implement web applications using React
  
  JS, NextJS, and NodeJS technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine requirements, aligning with business goals and client needs.
• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and middleware/infrastructure teams.
• Develop maintainable, well-structured code adhering to best practices and industry standards.
• Perform testing and debugging to ensure optimal functionality, reliability, and security.
• Provide senior-level technical oversight on multiple IT projects simultaneously.
• Assist in formulating IT strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Analyze requirements to determine development strategies and build business cases for pre-packaged and bundled solutions.
• Drive the design and construction of innovative technology solutions.
• Analyze and present various technical designs, participate in design review sessions, and assess the impact on product/downstream applications.
• Develop high-quality integrations between third-party applications and internally developed systems.
• Translate business initiatives into scalable and sustainable technical solutions.
• Communicate and document architectural and technical approaches and decisions.
• Estimate efforts and identify tasks per project requirements.
• Troubleshoot website issues and propose solutions.
• Research emerging technologies, lead evaluation studies, and address organizational opportunities and associated risks.

• 7+ years of IT experience.
• 4+ years of experience building NodeJS applications with React
  
  JS.
• 2+ years of experience with JavaScript/Type Script on NextJS.
• 3+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap/Tailwind or similar.
• 1+ year of experience with Storybook for React components or similar.
• 2+ years of experience with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
• 1+ year of experience with CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less.
• 1+ years of experience with Dev Ops, CI/CD, GIT, Jenkins.

• Experience with Drupal CMS and its RESTful APIs for Content as a Service.
• Azure development knowledge and experience.
• Experience with Agile methodology.
• Health care insurance industry domain knowledge.
• Knowledge of web accessibility and usability.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent with over 6 years of IT experience.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $86,600 – $200,400. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as location, experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
