In this role, you will be working as an AI Development Engineer for a client that works in the utility industry. This position will be responsible for working with engineering and design to implement AI tools.
This position is a direct hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.
Pay; 90,000-$95,000/Yr. Depending on experience
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science
- 2+ years of experience
- Experience with python and working with APIs
- Experience with AI/ML concepts and tools ( ex. ChatGPT/OpenAI/Claude APIs, basic ML frameworks, automation platforms like , Zapier etc.)
- Partner with engineers to map out repetitive or time‑conscious tasks (e.g. drawing review, BOM generation, checking and test data analysis)
- Build internal tools and scripts that integrate AI capabilities
- Develop prototypes, gather feedback from the staff
- Document tools and processes
- Help train engineering staff on how to use AI‑assisted tools.
