Preschool Teacher Assistant - Early Childhood Classroom

The Learning Experience - Canton is seeking a caring and dependable Preschool Teacher Assistant to support children ages 3-5 in a structured classroom environment focused on kindergarten readiness, confidence, and social-emotional development.

This role is ideal for someone with childcare experience who enjoys helping young learners build independence and strong early learning foundations through engaging classroom experiences.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist with daily preschool classroom routines and learning activities

* Support developmentally appropriate experiences and classroom centers

* Help maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment

* Guide children through transitions, meals, and group activities

* Encourage positive classroom participation and social interaction

* Communicate professionally with families and teaching team members

* Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements and center policies

Qualifications

* Prior childcare experience required

* CDA preferred but not required

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Reliable, nurturing, and professional approach

* Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
