Full-Time, Monday–Friday

Immediate Opening The Learning Experience – South Lyon Township is hiring a Lead Early Childhood Teacher for our 2-Year-Old (Prepper) classroom. This is an exciting stage where children are rapidly developing language, independence, confidence, and social skills. We're looking for an experienced educator who can provide structure, encouragement, and engaging learning experiences while making every day fun.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily classroom routines and learning experiences
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• Support language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development
• Encourage independence and emerging self-help skills
• Guide children through meals, toileting readiness, rest time, play, and transitions
• Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom
• Collaborate with Assistant Teachers and center leadership
• Build strong relationships with families
• Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous professional childcare or preschool experience preferred
• CDA preferred
• Experience working with toddlers or two-year-olds strongly preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
