Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students as an itinerant School Psychologist. Based near Canton, MI, this on-site contract role runs from ASAP through May 28, 2027, offering a predictable schedule—8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday (students dismiss early Wednesdays). Over the course of the week, you’ll rotate between four school buildings, serving diverse student populations and contributing to their growth and success.

As a valued professional in this assignment, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive psycho educational evaluations and re-evaluations
• Participate in REED meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Interpret assessment data and develop actionable recommendations
• Consult with educators, counselors, and families regarding students’ learning, social, and emotional needs
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
• Provide input in the creation and updating of IEPs and intervention plans
• Support prevention and early intervention strategies within the school environment

What we’re seeking:

• Valid Michigan School Psychologist license
• Experience with K-12 school-aged children, including assessment and participation in IEP/REED meetings
• Confidence working across multiple school sites and effectively managing your daily schedule
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, itinerant position
• Previous travel experience a plus, though not required
