The
** Adecco Permanent Recruitment Team is recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering and industrial services organization
** for experienced Journeyman Electricians to join a nationwide travel team. This position is responsible for leading and executing industrial electrical installations, modifications, relocations, removals, and equipment upgrades while working alongside other electricians, apprentices, engineers, and project leadership.
** Key Responsibilities*
* + Execute industrial electrical installation, modification, relocation, and removal projects.
+ Work under the direction of Master Electricians and Project Engineers.
+ Disassemble, replace, and reassemble electrical power distribution equipment and components.
+ Perform and verify proper
** lockout/tagout (LOTO)
** procedures before beginning electrical work.
+ Read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, manuals, and wiring diagrams.
+ Measure, cut, bend, and install EMT conduit.
+ Thread and install rigid conduit.
+ Field-fit and install:
+ Unistrut frames and hangers
+ Cable tray
+ Conduit and raceway
+ Perform manual and mechanically assisted wire pulls and terminations.
+ Trace, identify, and label power distribution and control wiring before equipment removal.
+ Install and mount electrical equipment, including:
+ Electrical panels
+ Disconnects
+ Junction boxes
+ Motors
+ Develop task-level material lists and communicate requirements to purchasing.
+ Gather and organize tools, materials, and supplies required for each project.
+ Mentor apprentices and help ensure quality and productivity standards are met.
+ Maintain tools, equipment, parts, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
+ Follow all applicable electrical codes, OSHA requirements, customer safety requirements, and company policies.
+ Perform additional jobsite responsibilities as directed by project/site management.
** Required Qualifications*
* + High school diploma or GED.
+
** Journeyman Electrician license
** and electrical trade school training.
+ Strong knowledge of electrical theory, three-phase power, and industrial wiring methods.
+ Proven industrial electrical installation experience.
+ Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and manuals.
+ Solid electrical aptitude and mathematical ability.
+ Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
+ Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and accepted industry practices.
+ Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
+ Willingness to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and additional hours as required.
+ Reliable personal vehicle suitable for interstate travel.
+ Basic set of electrical hand tools required.
+ Experience operating aerial lifts, forklifts, and other powered equipment preferred.
** Electrical Skills & Equipment*
* Candidates should be comfortable using electrical tools and equipment including:
+ Manual, electric, and hydraulic pipe benders
+ Pipe bending up to 4"
+ Knockout tools
+ Unistrut shears
+ Cable cutters and crimpers
+ Wire feeders and wire tuggers
+ Multimeters
+ Electrical hand tools
+ Industrial installation equipment
** 60%-100% Travel Position*
* ** This is a true 60%-100% nationwide travel position.
** Employees will travel with a dedicated project team to customer locations throughout the United States.
Travel assignments typically involve being onsite
** 3-4 weeks at a time and may occasionally extend to several months** , depending on project requirements.

* + **$0.725/mile mileage reimbursement
** when using your personal vehicle to travel to the project location from home

* There may be occasional breaks between projects, particularly around holidays; however, candidates should expect
