Job Overview

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. As a Build Manager in the Global Network Delivery Team, you will lead a team of highly qualified network engineers to deliver end‑to‑end infrastructure for new AWS data center builds across the AMER region. You will own safety, scheduling, standards, implementation and people management while driving innovative solutions to deploy capacity on time with zero rework.

• Lead and manage a team of network engineers in structured cabling, hardware deployment and commissioning during data center builds.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of new network infrastructure, ensuring safety, scheduling, standards and implementation across the AMER region.
• Plan, configure and deploy network infrastructure for new AWS data centers, driving strategy to innovate and optimize deployments.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and senior leadership to develop new solutions and designs.
• Represent and communicate status, risks and trade‑offs (time vs scope vs cost) to stakeholders across teams.
• Manage people, including hiring, performance management and career development.
• Clear blockers, accelerate progress and improve cycle time, quality and staff efficiency.

• Associate’s degree or above.
• Bachelor’s degree or experience in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of program management experience in infrastructure builds.
• Experience in technical management and people development.
• Proven track record managing difficult, cross‑functional infrastructure builds independently.
• Experience working across multiple teams and managing programs end‑to‑end.
• Ability to manage trade‑offs: time vs. scope vs. cost.
• Experience clearing blockers, escalating appropriately and accelerating progress.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Robust technical understanding of network infrastructure and deployment processes.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional certifications or military experience in an IT‑related field.
• Functional knowledge of network design and layer 2/3 networking concepts.
• Ability to propose regional or global projects leveraging technical and management experience.
• Experience conducting interviews and making effective hiring decisions.

Base salary range: USD 96,900 – 169,700 annually. Compensation includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Benefits include health, dental, vision, prescription, life insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, parental leave, and more. Learn more about benefits at .
