We are currently seeking a CMMS Engineer to serve as a system mater expert within Amazon data center region. Ideal candidates will possess the ability to design, develop and deploy innovative solutions to address operational challenges. This role requires both effective contributions as well as the ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams. The scope of this role will include, but is not limited to, owning the process from start to finish with deploying the EAM platform in your data center region, supporting local data center teams with asset collection, maintenance schedules, reporting, and training.
As part of the global EAM team, you will help drive global processes and document development. This role acts as the gatekeeper for mission critical data in EAM, responsible for the accuracy and reports produced in EAM. You will be required on a frequent basis to help develop systems enhancement modules of core and advanced modules to meet Regional or Global business requirements.
There will be 20% travel when launching new locations.
- Set up and maintain site asset data through Hexagon EAM.
- Work within data centers to ensure that asset details are captured to match the digital record.
- Work with corresponding teams to align and schedule maintenance within the CMMS application.
- Proactively perform routine data scrubs, identify and correct anomalies, and continuously look for ways to automate and enhance processes.
- Plan and conduct training and workshop sessions for large audiences within the organization.
- 5+ years of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel experience.
- Experience in a data center or other critical environment.
- 3+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience.
- 3+ years of relevant work in a data center or other critical environment experience.
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement documents.
- Experience in SQL Server/MySQL, or experience in database like No
SQL and experience with programming/scripting (Batch, VB, Power Shell, Java, C#, Chef, Perl, Ruby and/or PHP). - Experience in business intelligence and analytics.
- 3+ years of maintenance planner/scheduler working within an industrial maintenance complex, manufacturing/distribution industries, or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in supporting procedures for production or mission critical environments to include ticketing, monitoring/metrics, and troubleshooting technical issues.
