Base Pay Range$19.50/hr - $20.00/hr

SummaryThe Data Center Technician I plays a crucial role in maintaining the operational excellence and cleanliness standards of our controlled environments. This position is not only about keeping areas visually clean but ensuring that all surfaces, including ceilings, walls, equipment, and floors, are meticulously maintained to meet the strict guidelines of cleanliness required in a data center setting.
Shift DetailsMonday - Wednesday 7:00am - 3:30pm 20 weeks a year. 10 weeks consecutive, 6 months off then another 10 weeks consecutive.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Perform cleaning operations under strict guidelines. Continually monitor the cleaning procedures to ensure all cleaning is completed promptly and correctly.
- Responsible for participating in continuous training:
Data Center, technical skills, safety, performance improvement. - Normal duties include but are not limited to micro-cleaning all surfaces within the general & critical environment including ceilings, walls, equipment, and floors.
- The ability to follow customer standard operating procedures in precise detail including documentation.
- Identify deviations in cleaning and follow through on corrective and preventative actions (variances).
- Review change to SOP/SOW documentation and re-train.
- Assist in the cross training of other Controlled Contamination Services personnel.
- All other duties as defined by supervisor.
- Must become familiar with cleaning chemical components and safety requirements.
- Ability to learn and understand Scope of Work & Standard Operating Procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Pass a background check and I-9.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
