Performance Driven Workforce (PDW) is now hiring Full-time Experienced Assemblers for an automotive Tier 1 supplier. The Experienced Assembler role will assist and learn from a senior assembler. The Experienced Assembler’s will perform basic manufacturing and cleaning work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This Full Time Assembler position offers an AM day shiftand is based in Canton, MS. Candidates meeting the requirements for this Full Time Experienced Assembler position below are strongly encouraged to apply.
Pay:
- $22/hour
- AM day shift:6:30 am - 4:30 pm (Monday – Friday + Saturday as needed)
- Train with a Senior Assembler to assemble products and sub-components to support vehicle production and other products
- Support vehicle and material movement in and around facility
- Follow electronic build book for assembly instructions
- Clean and prepare components and vehicles for production
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow established safety procedures
- Learn and perform assigned production procedures to support vehicle and product production
- Perform work on vehicle systems
- Perform fabrication duties to include grinding, cutting and drilling using fixtures and templates
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of automotive experience
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must have a valid U.S.driver's license with a good driving record
- Proficient with computer usage
- Ability to learn and follow written instructions
- Ability to perform fine hand manipulation
- Knowledge of tools and their use
- Ability to focus on details and quality of work
Skills:
- High School Automotive Shop Class
- Experience performing personal vehicle maintenance
- Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends
- Overtime when available
- No certification required
