** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients at a tech and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, lobbies, data and equipment areas, and perimeter routes as assigned, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership, Allied Universal supervision, and/or public responders as appropriate.

+ Complete accurate reports on patrol activity, incidents, access issues, and other security-related observations using required tools and systems.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

+ X-ray screening experience is preferred.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
