We’re hiring a reliable, experienced, Security Officer! The persons in this position will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and co-workers by patrolling, monitoring premises, and performing search procedures.

• Provides for the fire safety and security of all personnel, contractors and visitors on site.
• Ensures all established policies set forth by Nissan and Prosegur are followed.
• Documents significant events and writes security reports as required.
• Communicates in a clear and concise manner, both orally and in writing.
• Participates in training to learn methods of improving performance and effectiveness.
• Motivates others to attain higher job performance.
• Responds to emergency situations as required.
• Notifies the Fire Brigade Sergeant of policy or procedures violations.
• Follows general appearance and uniform standards.
• Completes reports, daily activity logs and other documents in an accurate complete and timely manner.
• Responds to fire alarms, connects hose, holds nozzle and directs water streams.
• Forces entry of premises for fire fighting, rescue and salvage operations uses chemical fire extinguishers, bars hooks, lines, and other equipment.
• Removes persons from danger, administers first aid to injured persons.
• Positions and climbs ladders to gain access to upper levels of buildings.
• Performs salvage operations such as throwing covers, sweeping water and removing debris.
• Carries charged hose line into structure for fire extinguishment.
• Physically able to wear complete set of protective clothing and self-contained breathing apparatus.
• Participates in fire drills and attends training classes in fire fighting, first-aid, and related subjects.
• Performance of hazardous tasks under emergency conditions, which may involve extreme exertion under such handicaps as smoke and cramped surroundings.
• Performs extreme strenuous and physical labor for extended periods under some unfavorable conditions frequently lifting objects weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Performs duties requiring bending, crouching, stooping, climbing and crawling in buildings or close quarters that may be filled with smoke.
• Will be subject to call back in emergency situations during unscheduled work times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Analyze situations and respond to or direct response quickly and appropriately to crisis and emergency situations.
• Prepare accurate and thorough written reports.
• Maintain effective working relationships and to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Cope with situations using discretion and diplomacy.
• Respond to complaints with tact and diplomacy.
• Use good judgment and maintain control in stressful situations.
• Work with little or no supervision
