Tax Accountant

Experienced Tax Accountant – 5+ Years of Experience Our accounting firm is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of public accounting and tax preparation experience to join our team. Responsibilities Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns. Perform tax research and provide tax planning assistance to clients. Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters and information requests.

Stay current with changes in federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of tax accounting experience, preferably in public accounting. Strong knowledge of federal and state income tax laws. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines. Significant proficiency with technology, including tax preparation software, accounting software, Microsoft Office, Excel, electronic filing systems, and other technology used in a modern accounting practice.

Ability and willingness to learn and implement new software, applications, and emerging technologies, including AI-assisted accounting and tax tools. CPA, EA, or progress toward professional certification is preferred but not required.
