Con Met’s Canton, NC plastics manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled, hands‑on Manufacturing Engineer to support operations by analyzing processes and driving efficiency improvements across new and existing production lines.

• Provide engineering support for the development and integration of new product lines into existing plant operations.
• Identify manufacturing operations that could best benefit from engineering analysis.
• Perform detailed analysis of manufacturing operations and propose modifications to improve operations.
• Analyze and redesign workstations for improved ergonomics and efficiency.
• Perform economic assessment of manufacturing alternatives.
• Analyze process flow and propose improvements for increased cost‑efficiency.
• Develop cost‑effective and robust production processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience.
• Manufacturing and assembly processes experience and knowledge.
• SAP (or equivalent ERP system) experience.
• CNC programming and PLC experience – preferred.
• Core Tool (APQP & FMEA) and GD&T experience – preferred.
• Ultrasonic/Vibration welding for plastics – preferred.
