Our client is a 100% employee-owned (ESOP) organization with a strong track record of double-digit growth and long employee tenure (~10+ years avg.). The business operates across multiple divisions, including healthcare-related services and legacy manufacturing, creating a dynamic, multi-entity environment.

Position Overview
This is a hands-on Senior Accountant role focused heavily on revenue recognition and deferred revenue within a multi-entity structure.
The individual will step in as a true process owner, supporting multiple divisions and helping bring structure to billing/revenue processes while owning key pieces of the close.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities

• Own deferred revenue + revenue recognition (subscription/contract billing focus)

• Lead month-end close, accruals, and reconciliations

• Support billing systems, troubleshooting, and process improvements

• Partner cross-functionally with billing and operations

• Analyze contracts and align revenue recognition with financial reporting

Senior Accountant Qualifications

• 4–7+ years of accounting experience

• Strong month-end close ownership

• Hands-on deferred revenue + accruals + reconciliations

• Experience with subscription billing / contract-based revenue preferred
