Payroll Specialist

Securitas Technology is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate, timely payroll for a diverse workforce supporting our electronic security and life safety operations. In this role, you will process multi-state payroll, validate time and attendance data, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations. You'll partner with HR and Finance, support audits and reporting, and help improve payroll processes.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate, timely multi-state payroll for hourly and salaried employees
• Validate and reconcile time and attendance data, earnings, and deductions
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and tax regulations
• Manage payroll changes including new hires, terminations, rate changes, and benefits deductions
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee inquiries, and adjustments
• Prepare payroll reports for HR, Finance, and leadership, supporting audits as needed
• Coordinate with HR and Finance on compensation, benefits, and accounting requirements
• Support continuous improvement of payroll processes, controls, and documentation
