Part-Time Leasing & Administrative Assistant
A growing residential property management company is seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Part-Time Leasing & Administrative Assistant to support apartment community operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, has strong administrative skills, and is comfortable assisting with leasing activities.
Part-Time Leasing & Administrative Assistant
Location:
Canton/Massillon Area, OH
Schedule:
Part-Time | Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–3:00 PM or 12:00 PM–4:00 PM
Pay: $20–$21/hour
Key Responsibilities- Track phone calls, walk-in traffic, and leasing activity to support marketing and occupancy goals.
- Assist with leasing processes, including application processing, credit checks, and income verification while maintaining confidentiality.
- Complete leasing paperwork and perform accurate data entry.
- Assist with lease signings and collection of initial rent and security deposit payments.
- Communicate with new residents to ensure a smooth move-in experience.
- Maintain resident files and associated records.
- Answer resident inquiries, enter maintenance requests, and route service issues to the appropriate team members.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, prospects, and visitors.
- Answer incoming calls and greet visitors in a professional manner.
- Support collections efforts, distribute notices, assist with administrative projects, and provide general office support as needed.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced office environment.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Previous leasing, sales, hospitality, retail, or customer-facing experience is highly preferred.
- Confident communicator who enjoys speaking with prospective residents and building relationships.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer applications.
- Ability to learn property management and leasing software.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Outgoing, approachable, and professional personality.
- Comfortable engaging with prospective residents and handling inquiries.
- Sales-minded with the ability to build rapport and identify leasing opportunities.
- Team player willing to assist with a variety of office and property management tasks.
