This role begins on a Sam’s Club remodel in Canton, OH, with future assignments on projects nationwide.
Novak Construction is a national general contractor specializing in complex projects across retail, healthcare, industrial, and cold storage sectors. We are known for quality, safety, and strong client partnerships.
We’re seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead large-scale remodels and ground-up projects for major clients (Walmart, Amazon, Costco, healthcare, cold storage).
Responsibilities- Lead all on-site construction activities
- Manage large crewsand subcontractors
- Create and maintain project schedules
- Ensure safety compliance (OSHA) and jobsite standards
- Monitor quality, progress, and budgets
- Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders
- Conduct site inspections and resolve issues quickly
- 10+ years construction supervision experience
- 5+ years managing large commercial/industrial projects
- Experience with major clients (retail, healthcare, cold storage)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Willingness to travel nationally - Valid driver’s license
- Degree in Construction Management or related field
- OSHA 30+ certification
- Experience with Pro Core, Bluebeam, Auto Desk
