Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing technical support (i.e. audio, video, lighting and photograph) for campus events.
IV.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Directs all aspects of event set-up, staging requirements, lighting, video, photography, and sound system coordination and operation
- Responds to technical requests from event customers
- Manages student workers and provides general direction to other members of the event technical crews
- Assists with the functionality of all media equipment used in meeting venues on campus
- Manages the events calendar and scheduling
- Plans/manages projects and budgets
- Maintains and repairs equipment
- Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
- Associates Degree in media-related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience with audio, lighting, video production and photography
- Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems
- Moderate exposure to noise and working outdoors
- Includes working off of ladders or lifts
- Exposure to mechanical and electrical
- Extended work hours may be required (days, evenings and weekends)
