Role Overview

We are seeking a Chief Medical Officer / Medical Director to provide strategic and operational clinical leadership across our organization.

This role is ideal for a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine MD/DO who is ready to expand their leadership footprint while maintaining meaningful clinical involvement.

Clinical Leadership & Strategy
  • Oversee clinical quality, safety, and compliance initiatives
  • Drive quality improvement programs and value-based care initiatives
  • Lead provider recruitment, onboarding, mentorship, and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with FQHC regulations and HRSA requirements
  • Partner with executive leadership on strategic growth initiatives
Administrative Oversight (70%)
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures
  • Monitor quality metrics, productivity, and patient outcomes
  • Support budget planning and operational decision-making
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and clinical excellence
Clinical Component (30% | 0.3 FTE)
  • Provide direct patient care in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Maintain connection to frontline clinical operations
  • Model patient-centered care and clinical best practices
Qualifications
  • MD or DO (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine)
  • Active Ohio license (or ability to obtain)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Interest in leadership and administrative growth
  • Prior leadership experience preferred but not required—open to strong emerging physician leaders
