With 35,000 outpatient office visits a year, the practice offers a wide range of OB/GYN services from family planning to infertility treatment, diet and weight-loss consulting, treatment for menstrual disorders, ultrasound imaging, mammography, and bone density testing. Join our established practice of 6 experienced physicians and 2 nurse practitioners.

Key Responsibilities- Responsible for providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care within a group practice setting.
- Evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and longitudinal management of patients across the continuum of women's health services.
- Provide prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and postoperative care as clinically indicated.
- Perform deliveries and gynecologic procedures consistent with training, experience, and granted privileges. OB deliveries and GYN surgeries will continue on the campuses of Akron Children's adult hospital partners.
- Perform office-based procedures and surgical interventions within the approved scope of practice.
- Participate in shared call coverage and other patient care coverage responsibilities as assigned.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and ancillary personnel to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Academic and teaching responsibilities in support of an OB/GYN residency program, including resident supervision, clinical teaching, and participation in educational activities.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), 4-year residency in OBGYN
- Licensure:
Board certified in OB/GNY required. Current and valid license to practice in Ohio. - DEA registration and controlled substance certification, as required.
- Years of supervisory experience: none.
- Excellent patient rapport, communication, and time management skills are a must.
- Expertise with EMR (Epic) preferred.
