Are you a physician leader passionate about advancing community health and improving access to high-quality, patient-centered care? We're partnering with a respected Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Ohio to identify an experienced Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to join its executive leadership team.
This is a unique opportunity for a collaborative physician executive to shape clinical strategy, lead quality and operational excellence, and drive innovation across primary care, behavioral health, women's health, and population health programs while continuing to provide patient care.
What You'll Do- Provide executive leadership for clinical operations, quality, and provider performance across multiple service lines.
- Supervise employed providers and clinical leadership while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and regulatory compliance, including HRSA and state reporting.
- Partner with residency program leadership to support physician education and strengthen academic affiliations.
- Advance integrated medical and behavioral health services, value-based care, care coordination, and public health initiatives.
- Drive strategic growth of clinical programs, including 340B pharmacy services, substance use treatment, and community-based healthcare initiatives.
- Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, partnering with the CEO to execute the organization's strategic vision.
- Maintain a clinical practice (approximately 30% patient care).
- MD or DO with Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or OB/GYN
- Active Ohio medical license
- Minimum of 2 years of physician leadership experience
- Experience leading quality improvement, clinical operations, and multidisciplinary teams
- FQHC and integrated behavioral health experience are highly preferred
