This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, dependable, flexible, and able to build meaningful relationships with youth from diverse backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities Build trusting, supportive relationships with students through consistent daily interaction
Provide individualized skill-building and behavioral support services within the school environment
Help students strengthen:emotional regulationcoping skillscommunicationconflict resolutionproblem-solving abilities
Support students during difficult moments with patience, empathy, and calm guidance
Facilitate engaging small groups focused on social-emotional growth and resilience
Collaborate regularly with teachers, school staff, therapists, and families to support student success
Advocate for students and help connect families with helpful community resources
Maintain timely documentation and communication to support quality care and continuity of services
Serve as a positive, encouraging adult role model for students who may need additional support and connection
What This Work Looks Like No two days are exactly the same.
One moment, you may be helping a student calm down after a difficult interaction. Later, you might celebrate a small but meaningful success — a student using healthy coping skills, attending class consistently, or opening up for the first time.
Our staff are often the steady, caring presence students remember years later.

We’re seeking individuals who are:compassionate and empatheticpassionate about helping youth succeedresilient and calm under pressuredependable and team-orientedstrong relationship buildersorganized and adaptable
Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 21 years oldHigh school diploma or GED required
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and appropriate auto insurance
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a larger team
Must pass required background clearances per program guidelines
Preferred Qualifications Experience working with children, teens, or families
Experience in schools, mental health, social services, education, or community support
Understanding of trauma-informed approaches and relationship-based support
Knowledge of community resources and family systems
