INFANT - PRE K @ GIBBS COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTER
Seeking Individuals who will...
* Serve as a warm, attentive role model for children by guiding through simple, positive examples, encouraging safe exploration and early healthy habits, and ensuring a safe, responsive environment that meets the needs of each child.

Minimum Qualifications:
* Associates degree or higher in education or related field or CPL level 3 or above preferred (CDA accepted)
* Ability to pass a background check
* At least 18 years old
* High school diploma/GED (required)
Preferred
Qualifications & Skills:
* Early childhood classroom experience, including lesson planning & conducting assessments
* Demonstrates knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice

Starting Pay:
$15.00- $18.00/HR
Position
Description:
* Designs and implements daily lesson/activity plans
* Responsible for well-being and personal growth of the children
* Assists in potty training
* Leads the classroom team that includes supervision of Assistant Teachers
* Makes ongoing, systematic observations and evaluations of each child
* Conducts parent conferences, and maintains positive relationships and effective communication with parents
* Maintains classroom and program equipment
* Maintains required program records
* Attends and participates in family nights, program activities, staff meetings, and staff training
* Maintains training in First aid, CPR, Communicable Diseases and Child Abuse Awareness as well as 10 hours of Ohio Approved training per year. (trainings provided by YMCA and affiliates)
