I. University Overview

This position is responsible for assisting the Campus Visits and Events Manager in the planning and execution of multiple visitations and special events as well as assisting in the recruitment of students and assisting the Director of Admissions with specific initiatives as assigned.
IV. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists in planning recruitment events including helping choose/reserve venues, brainstorming event details and schedules, creating visit folders, compiling visit gifts and decorations, creating outdoor signs, working with our food service provider, printing out materials, recruiting student workers to help run the
and organizing all event supplies that were returned to the office
- Assists in planning and running campus visits including creating visit schedules for students registered for personal visits, and communicating with the students, assisting with the flow of the visit as needed, and ensuring that any follow up needs are met

- Knowledge of and compliance with NCAA rules and regulations and with conference rules and regulations regarding the recruitment of athletes.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 for undergraduate work
- Registered and enrolled in a full-time graduate program
- Work is typically performed in a conventional office environment
- Evening and weekend work may be required
- 20 hours per week
- Graduate Assistants may receive up to 18 credit hours per academic year (maximum of 9 per semester) of tuition remission in exchange for up to 800 hours of service. The term of this position is August 1 - May 31 and is for one academic year unless it is shortened by poor performance,…
