III. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Personalized Campus Visits and Campus Events

• Guide campus tours
• Walk prospective students to meetings and class visits
• Eat lunch with prospective students
• Play roles at events such as speaking on student panels or participating in games
• Other duties as assigned
• Assist with event preparation and post-event work
• Write postcards
• Calling students
• Other duties as assigned

The Student Ambassador serves as a representative of Malone University and the Office of Admissions, helping prospective students and their families experience campus and learn more about the Malone community. Student Ambassadors support the admissions recruitment process through personalized campus visits, admissions events, and daily office operations. This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, professionalism, flexibility, dependability, and the ability to create a welcoming and positive experience for prospective students and guests.

Student Ambassadors are expected to represent Malone University and the Office of Admissions in a professional, enthusiastic, and authentic manner while working collaboratively with admissions staff and other student employees.
