Job Summary
The Project Administrator will be tasked with assisting Project Managers and Engineers in coordinating and managing the flow of information and documents between the company and clients.
Responsibilities- Assist Project Managers and Engineers in all aspects of the projects.
- Manage the projects within project management system and support the team with training, uploads and access.
- Project setup within project management system including contacts, workflow and sales estimates.
- Create and track commitments and change orders - purchase orders and subcontracts.
- Assist in coordinating equipment deliveries.
- Track and manage submittal packages.
- Track assigned projects through the life cycle of a project.
- Communication with subcontractors and vendors.
- Closeout - Request, create and track project close out documents.
- Drawings - Upload and distribute drawings and specifications.
- Works to deliver on day-to-day objectives with minor impact on achievement results for the team.
- Delivers job responsibilities following a defined standard output or set of procedures.
- Work consists of tasks that are routine, or well defined, with specific instructions to achieve standardized solutions.
- Work is closely supervised.
- Communicates with contacts typically within immediate job area on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring little explanation or interpretation.
- Responsible for checking data and information or troubleshooting when minor changes may be required based on review.
- Daily challenges faced are routine and solutions clearly prescribed.
- Follows a well-established and familiar set of activities and/or processes to derive a solution.
