Civil Project Engineer (Water Resources) - Canton OH - JOB 26-00341
Salary Range: $73,000 - $100,000 Full-Time Permanent Position with Benefits
A Canton, Ohio area Engineering Firm that is seeking to hire an experienced Civil Project Engineer who has the engineering know how to help design residential and commercial water resources projects
Responsibilities:
- Design & Drafting:
Create comprehensive technical drawings and plans for permitting and construction, focusing on layout, grading, drainage, and erosion/sediment control. - Engineering Solutions:
Develop innovative technical solutions for complex water resource challenges. - Regulatory Compliance:
Prepare and complete necessary environmental permits to ensure project adherence to local and federal standards. - Project Estimating:
Prepare accurate cost estimates for all assigned water resource projects. - Construction Support:
Provide technical oversight during construction, including plan reviews and site visits to ensure design intent is met. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with fellow engineers and construction inspection personnel to deliver optimal results for clients.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited program. - Experience:
0–4 years of experience in water/wastewater or related civil engineering. - Certification: EI/EIT certification is highly preferred (though not required).
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a significant plus. - Soft Skills:
Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively within a team. - Mobility:
Ability to perform occasional day travel to project sites.
