Immediate job opening for a Senior Corporate Industrial Engineer for a stable, successful custom manufacturer in the greater Canton, OH area. Global, 100+ year, multi-billion company with strong growth. Highly visible position that is part of Corporate Manufacturing Engineering.

Seeking strong data mining and analysis experience

Guide plant layout design and process flow simulation/optimization

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, assess and improve manufacturing processes where appropriate (domestic and international sites)
• Troubleshoot manufacturing problems and develop solutions
• Analyze existing manufacturing lines and create brand new manufacturing lines to implement solutions to maximize efficiencies and output.
• Develop standard operating instructions and regular testing procedures to ensure equipment complies with industry standards
• Develop new Lean and Six Sigma tactics across manufacturing plants
• Assist with the purchase of new equipment; research, price, and analyze options to provide recommendations as needed.
• Design new equipment and/or redesign process flow as required.
• Analyze, modify, and design processes to guarantee maximum output with minimum defects in production.
• Analyze production processes to cut costs, increase productivity, and optimize productivity.
• Other duties as assigned.

Desired

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree
• Minimum 4 years experience in industrial engineering, process engineering, or manufacturing engineering
• Project Leadership desired
• Must have plant layout design experience
• Ability to design, analyze, optimize cell & line layout
• Strong analysis skills
• Ability to analyze efficiency, capacity, quality, safety
• Skilled in 3D CAD modeling
• Process modeling/simulation experience
• Production performance analysis and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma

Familiarity with the DMAIC process (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) Domestic and International Travel of 20% Experience with plant layout and design Experience with 3D CAD modeling
