GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Engineer (Roadway Design) to work within our Ohio Transportation Business Unit. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced, varied, and team-oriented environment that will use their related experience to develop professionally and grow in today's global environment. Remote and/or Hybrid work options (home or office) are also viable options, and the successful candidate will be eligible for a sign-on bonus.
Job Duties- Roadway design for ODOT and Local Public Agency (LPA) clients
- Creates and reviews project design calculations, quantity takeoffs, specifications, plans, and contract documents
- Works within the Transportation Team assigning responsibilities
- Works within project schedules and budgets
- Applies ODOT design manual and AASHTO principles to highway design
- Utilizes roadway design CADD software
- May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
- Occasional travel to client meetings and site visits with possible overnight stays (up to 10% of the time).

Bachelors or better in Engineering.
PreferredMasters or better.
ExperienceRequired:
18 years of related experience.
