Senior Financial Analyst

A privately held company is adding a Sr. Financial Analyst to its manufacturing team. This is an analytical, hands‑on role built for someone who thrives in raw data, builds models from the ground up, and partners closely with operations to turn numbers into insight. The work is varied, the impact is visible, and the right person will gain meaningful exposure across finance and operations.

• Build analysis, models, and reporting from raw data exports, working across large multi‑tab datasets
• Partner with operations and supply chain to understand inventory flow and product profitability
• Transform messy data into clean, decision‑ready output that leadership can act on
• Build new tools and improve existing files used across finance and operations
• Support inventory analysis, reconciliations, and period‑end reporting
• Identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities and surface them clearly to leadership

• Advanced Excel skills, including INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, and nested logic, with comfort manipulating thousands of rows across multiple tabs
• Experience in a manufacturing setting is ideal, distribution experience also considered
• Solid understanding of inventory in a product environment
• Some exposure to cost accounting concepts is a plus, but exceptional Excel candidates with lighter cost accounting backgrounds will also be considered
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Self‑motivated, organized, and effective in a hands‑on environment
