Initiate dialysis treatment according to prescribed orders including blood flow and dialysate flow; monitor patient response.;
Assess vascular access, perform cannulation, and administer heparin as delegated.;
Record vital signs, treatment data, and weights; maintain Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet.;
Ensure safety alarms are enabled and perform machine safety checks; maintain infection control and environmental cleanliness.;
Educate patients on adequacy measures and participate in CQI/quality improvement activities.
