Overview

We’re looking for Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to work in our Ogdensburg Behavioral Health Clinic.

Responsibilities
  • Handle intake and screening procedures for new clients under general supervision
  • Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses to evaluate client strengths, needs, and capabilities
  • Deliver a range of services such as psychotherapy aimed at addressing aspects of human development and behavior to support personal and social well-being
  • Collaborate with clients to formulate person-centered, strength-focused treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records, including comprehensive assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and referrals to alternative care levels or community services
  • Ensure timely and precise completion of documentation as mandated by the New York State Office of Mental Health regulations
  • Manage electronic charts through proficient computer skills for clinical documentation entry and correspondence preparation
  • Participate in educational programs and meet continued education requirements to uphold licensure
  • Maintain flexibility in working hours to accommodate program demands
  • Meet productivity benchmarks set by the Director of Behavioral Health Services and perform any other assigned tasks
Qualifications
  • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or eligibility to practice as LMSW in New York
  • Experience with intake, assessments, diagnoses, and psychotherapy
  • Strong skills in developing person-centered, strength-based treatment plans
  • Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and meet regulatory requirements
  • Flexibility in hours and ability to meet productivity benchmarks

Salary

The starting salary for this position ranges from $74,734.24 to $83,033.60 annually, based on qualifications and experience.
