Position: Crisis Counselor (Adult Mobile Response Services)

Crisis Counselor (Adult Mobile Response Services)

Coleman Health Services, a nationally recognized not-for-profit provider of behavioral health and rehabilitation programs, is seeking a licensed social worker and/or counseling professional to provide crisis intervention and counseling services to adults and families in various community settings throughout Stark County.
This is a full-time, third-shift position.

Duties of Adult Mobile Crisis Counselor:

  • Dedicated crisis counselor for adults in crisis.
  • Travel throughout Stark county to provide crisis assessment/intervention, safety planning, and follow up care.
  • Provide brief intervention along with ongoing assessment and linkage to services.

Qualifications of Adult Mobile Crisis Counselor:

  • Masters with MSW/LSW; LISW/LISW-S or LPCC/LPCC-S Licensure preferred
  • 2 years' or more experience working in the behavioral healthcare field
  • Eligible for or have an NPI number and an Ohio Medicaid number
  • Have/maintain an excellent driving record

Preference given to candidates with:

  • Work experience with adults and families in community behavioral health or crisis intervention setting
  • Experience in motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and trauma informed care
