• Experience: Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Additional Experience Requirement: Minimum 18 months of permanent (staff) Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• License: Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Certifications: Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS (nothing pending)
• NIH Stroke Scale: Must obtain prior to start
• EMR: Epic experience required
• References: Recent manager‑level reference(s) in the specialty (manager/ANM/supervisor/director) required per facility submission requirements
• Assessments: Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and Safe Medicate during orientation (maximum 2 attempts)

• Provide bedside nursing care for post‑operative Med/Surg Telemetry patients on night shift
• Monitor telemetry, interpret ECG rhythms, and elevate changes in patient condition per protocol
• Perform assessments, implement care plans, and document in Epic
• Administer medications safely and follow established medication verification and dosing procedures
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient recovery and discharge readiness
• Support unit coverage needs, including working at least every other holiday as scheduled
