We're looking for Respiratory Care professionals for an immediate travel position opening in Canton, OH. The right RT should have 1 year recent acute care experience. Read below for more requirements.

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide direct patient care to patients in a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.

• Administer to patients a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities.
• Maintain appropriate patient records/documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories. Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function. Report malfunctions to director.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze sample according to procedure guidelines.
• Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for patients being treated.
• Respond to emergent situations that could require Respiratory support.

• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds when moving patients.
• Must have specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must have 1 year of experience.
• Must hold BLS and ACLS certifications. PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.
• Must hold a valid NBRC license.
