Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience and Epic proficiency on a night shift schedule.

Job Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting,

• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM,

• Telemetry monitoring with ECG rhythm recognition responsibilities,

• Holiday coverage required at a minimum of every other holiday,

Job Requirements

• Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand,

• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required,

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification must be obtained prior to start,

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required,

• Epic EMR experience required,

• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the same specialty required for consideration,

• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration,

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score on both is required,

• Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months across any assignments at this health system's locations,

• A minimum 6-month gap is required before beginning another assignment at any location within this health system
