Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: April 17, 2026

Location: Canton, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Highlights:

• Join a progressive healthcare team utilizing Epic electronic medical records
• Med/Surg Telemetry unit with comprehensive cardiac monitoring capabilities
• 13-week contract with potential to extend up to 18 months
• Paid orientation with comprehensive onboarding and competency support
• Holiday rotation required (every other holiday minimum)
• ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments completed during orientation

Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN license or current Compact state license in hand at time of application
• Minimum 18 months recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience required
• Epic charting system experience mandatory
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained prior to start date
• One recent professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in Med/Surg Telemetry specialty from the past 12 months
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Clear background check with no open cases and clean license history
• Completion of BCI/FBI background clearance within 48 hours of contract signing
