Coleman Health Services is a nationally recognized not-for-profit provider of behavioral health and rehabilitation programs to foster recovery, build independence, and change destinies for individuals, families, and businesses in our community. We are seeking a Counselor Intern to assist in the Crisis Stabilization Unit in Canton, Ohio.
KEYDUTIES INCLUDE:
- Provide individual, family, couples, and group psychotherapy to clients.
- Provide screening, including intakes, evaluations, assessments and crisis intervention to service applicants and clients.
- Coordinate with families, significant others, guardians, other referral sources and ancillary agencies as needed.
- Maintain appropriate documentation in the electronic health record to comply with Company policies and accreditation standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Adhere to requirements for LCDCIII licensure
- Receive at least one (1) hour of weekly supervision from the internship supervisor and comply with any other supervision requirements based on licensure and/or internship requirements.
Must be willing to complete and have a favorable drug screening if selected for the position
