As a Physical Therapy Assistant at Astoria Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in our mission to provide individualized, compassionate, and innovative healthcare services. Our rehab-recovery suites are designed to provide a comfortable stay, equipped with a bathroom, flat screen TV, phone, and Wi‑Fi. You will work under the supervision of a physical therapist to develop and implement treatment plans for our guests, focusing on individually tailored rehabilitation programs to help them achieve maximum independence and mobility.

• Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of treatment plans

• Conduct physical therapy treatments, including exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques

• Monitor and record patient progress and changes in condition

• Participate in patient education and discharge planning

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatments and patient progress

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
