Health And Wellness Dietitian

The Wellness Dietitian plays a key role in supporting employee health, productivity, and well-being through evidence-based nutrition guidance, engaging wellness programming, and individualized support. The Wellness Dietitian designs, delivers, and evaluates nutrition-focused initiatives that align with the organization’s wellness strategy and promote long-term behavior change in a company/corporate environment. The role of the Dietitian is to provide proactive and ongoing support to our enrollees and their families in order to optimize self-management health and wellness strategies.

The Wellness Dietitian will utilize the technology within the information management system to identify enrollees appropriate for contact. The Registered Dietitian will encourage enrollees/family members to maintain health, manage disease and disease impacts, and sustain independence. Some responsibilities may be shared with other personnel. The Registered Dietitian must provide efficient quality service at all times. The Registered Dietitian will accomplish this goal by using evidence-based standards of care to educate, motivate and empower enrollees to make healthy lifestyle choices.

Wellness is a department within Ault Care dedicated to corporate wellness, developing strategies to support employee health and well-being. This department includes both clinical and non-clinical allied health professionals supporting comprehensive wellness while integrated with Ault Care services to provide the highest quality of health and wellness to corporate customers. The Dietitian collaborates closely with company leadership / partners, Ault Care Care Coordination, and the wellness team to create a culture of health across the organization.

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in nutrition with advanced experience to meet registration requirements of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Maintain Registered Dietitian (RD) status according to the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), which is the credentialing agency for dietitians.
• Maintain and/or renew Dietitian licensure status as required by the Medical Board of Ohio

• Experienced in administering consumer programs and conducting individual and group nutrition education.

• Typing, word processing and spreadsheet development preferred as well as Microsoft Access database.
• Handle frequent interruptions in a courteous and professional manner.
