Position: Lead OP Therapist (LSW/LPC)

Pay: $65,000 - $75,000 per year

Sunrise Vista is located in Canton, Ohio and serves Stark County and the surrounding communities. The facility provides comprehensive behavioral health services through both inpatient and outpatient treatment programs. Sunrise Vista specializes in serving adult and older adult populations, helping individuals navigate mental health challenges through individualized, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the clinical team, ensuring exceptional client care and treatment outcomes.
  • Provide crisis intervention services that promote client safety, stability, and wellness.
  • Quality Assurance: Review treatment plans and clinical documentation for compliance and best practices.
  • Staff Supervision: Provide mentorship, coaching, and clinical supervision to junior therapists, students, and support staff.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct medical record and chart audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards.
  • Team Leadership: Act as a liaison between the clinical team and facility management, helping coordinate scheduling, onboarding, and training.
  • Program Development: Assist leadership in evaluating clinical programs, streamlining workflows, and improving patient outcomes.
  • Provide high-quality PHP, IOP, OP, inpatient, and outpatient behavioral health treatment services to individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
  • Deliver individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based treatment approaches tailored to each client's needs.
  • Collaborate with clients and their support systems to develop and implement personalized treatment plans

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and contribute to ongoing treatment planning and discharge coordination.
Qualifications
  • License/

    Education/Certification:

    LSW (BSW, MSW), LPC, LISW, or LPCC
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a behavioral health or mental health setting. (Preferred)
  • At least 1 year of experience facilitating group counseling. (Preferred)
  • Experience working with severe and persistent mental illness, trauma, and co-occurring substance use disorders. (Preferred)
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Previous supervisory or team lead experience is preferred.
