** Must have previous experience working as a Scheduler, knowledge of medical terminology, and an American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification.

** Snapshot of Daily Duties
*** Schedule patients for procedures at clinic, ASC, and hospital along with radiology and lab work
* Measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and documents all information in patient’s chart, if applicable
* Collect specimens for laboratory analysis, as applicable.
* Obtain, verify, and record health history of patients.
* Assist the physician with office visits. Must be able to assist physician in an emergency, if applicable
* Manage patient prescriptions as directed by physician.
* Manage referrals as directed by physician.
* Answer patient questions. Notify patients of test results
* Schedule Research Patients
* Obtain, verify, and record health history of patients.

** The Must Haves
*** High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant required.
* Previous experience working in a medical office environment preferred.
* BLS certified required
* Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology required.
* ** SHIFT: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM Monday through Thursday*
