** Role Overview
** Pathway Caring for Children Counselors play a vital role in empowering children, adolescents, and families to recognize their strengths, navigate challenges, and achieve meaningful goals. Through a compassionate, trauma-informed approach, School Based Counselor / Therapist provides assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic services, and supportive interventions that foster emotional well-being, strengthen family relationships, promote stability, and encourage long-term success.
As a valued member of a collaborative team, the School-Based Counselor / Therapist partners closely with youth, families, case managers, schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations to ensure individualized and effective care. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of children and families while contributing to Pathway's mission.## Qualifications
** Minimum Qualifications
*** Current Ohio licensure required (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, or equivalent).
* Ability to meet agency credentialing and payer enrollment requirements.
* Valid Ohio driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
* Current automobile liability insurance and reliable transportation.
* Ability to successfully complete required background checks and agency onboarding requirements.
