Position Summary
The Clinical Informatics Patient Access Trainer serves as a liaison between Clinical Informatics, Information Systems, ambulatory practices, and end users to support the effective use of the electronic medical record and related patient access (front-end/back-end office) workflows. The Trainer develops and delivers education for new and existing staff, provides ongoing system and workflow support, assists with issue resolution, maintains training resources and environments, and supports implementations, upgrades, and go-live activities.
Through practice rounding, collaboration, communication, and workflow assessment, the trainer promotes patient safety, system optimization, consistent adoption, and a positive end-user experience across Aultman provider practices.

Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- Knowledge of physician office front-end/back-end operations and workflows preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of electronic medical record systems; experience with Oracle Health/Cerner applications preferred.
